Your ad material must be submitted by the time indicated below on the day(for the ads in The General News and The Chosun Economy) or by two days(for the ads in The Spotlight, The Weekend Magazine, and The Health) before the expected publication date.

Material Submission Deadlines

• As for the ads in The General News, please submit the modified ad material by 20:00 if you wish to include it in the first printed copies of the newspaper.
• As for ads in The Chosun Economy that will be printed prior to the first copies of The General News, you are supposed to submit the modified ad material by 18:00. Please note that as we will change the printing plate for The Chosun Economy without stopping the machine, not all printed copies will contain the modified version of your ad. Thus, we do not guarantee that your ad material will be delivered to all regions.

• To achieve the highest possible print quality for your ad material, we use 85 black-and-white lines and 100 color lines for the resolution of a halftone screen.
• As for color ad materials, we use different screen angles (cyan at 75°, magenta at 45°, yellow at 95°, and black at 15°) to prevent the occurrence of a moiré pattern in the color print reproduction.

• To achieve the highest possible print quality for your color ad material, please submit a “gallery proof” made of newsprint sheet. (※ The Chosunilbo asks you for the gallery proof.)
• This is because we often receive ad material submissions that are not designed for four-color-process or have no registration marks.

• You will be able to check the result of the Supervision at the Advertising Development Division of The Chosunilbo at 22:30 for the ads in The General News and at 18:30 for the ads in The Chosun Economy on the day before the expected publication date.
